Real Accountability for Our Schools
Sonja Azim is committed to bringing transparency and equitable decision-making back to our district. A campaign focused on safety in our schools and improving teacher conditions and ensuring every student has the support they need to succeed.
With so much happening right now involving the school board and how their decisions impact the entire district. I think we can agree, it's time for a change. The status quo has only gotten us into trouble.

The lack of accountability is astonishing, with no one wanting to accept responsibility and transparency does not mean making decisions without input from the public, community, and all stakeholders impacted.

There seems to be a deficit regarding the equitable treatment of our students and facilities.

Unfortunately, the teacher supports required for teachers to be able to truly do their jobs effectively appear to be in short supply.

Strong safety measures along with proper training help build trust within the school community and assist in preventing emergencies. Training helps prepare people for how to respond to emergency situations so that everyone can learn and grow without fear.
